Elegant Winter Wedding at the Aisling

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again (and again and again!)—winter weddings are SO underrated! There’s just something magical about the crisp air, the cozy vibes, and the sparkle of fresh snow outside, paired with the glow of candlelight inside… Ahhhh, I’m obsessed.

Jordan & Maddie’s elegant wedding at The Aisling was a perfect winter wonderland dream come true. From emotional first looks to cowboy hats and cake on the floor, it was a day packed with joy, meaning, and unforgettable moments, and I was so honored to be there to capture it all.

Having Your Wedding at the Aisling

First, let’s talk about this venue! The Aisling is a total stunner. It’s located in a peaceful, open setting in Hudson, WI, and offers both indoor and outdoor spaces. For this day, being a winter wedding, we kept things cozy inside, though. With white walls, tall ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that let in allll the dreamy natural light, this place is a photographer’s paradise!

The Reception Hall features a full-service bar, ample space for dancing and mingling, and a layout that exudes spacious elegance. It’s like a blank canvas—minimalist and modern—so couples can make it totally their own. Whether you’re envisioning a candlelit dinner or a giant sign with your last name lit up behind your first dance…this space can handle it!

Jordan & Maddie’s Fun and Thoughtful Winter Wedding Day

From the moment I arrived, I could tell this day was going to be good. The couple booked my top package (10 hours coverage and a second shooter) because they wanted to capture every single detail and relive the entire day again and again. And lemme tell ya…we DID that!

One of the most emotional and meaningful parts of the day? The first looks. Not just with each other, but with ALL the parents. The groom saw both sets of parents. The bride did, too. Then they shared a private first touch where they read vows back-to-back before turning around and having a first look together. Jordan’s emotions were so, so sweet to witness, and I was definitely crying behind the camera, as well.

I truly love a first look, because not only do you get some amazing photos, but also because you get to spend some time alone together on what will be a whirlwind of a wedding day. And since the couple wanted to be present with their guests for the cocktail hour, this was the perfect chance to capture their portraits!

The couple also took a moment for snuggles with their sweet pup Cash, who wore the cutest green bow fitting the color scheme.

Elegant Winter Wedding Design and Personal Touches

The whole day had this effortlessly elegant and classic vibe, you could just feel it in every little detail. Their vision was clean, minimalistic, and timeless, and it alllll came to life beautifully. However, this wasn’t just a chic, modern wedding. This was a PARTY. These two knew how to have fun, and their day reflected it in the BEST ways.

Before the ceremony even began, they popped a bottle and poured a mini champagne tower. And instead of tossing her bouquet later that night, the bride handed it to her mom during a sweet moment that made everyone’s heart melt.

And don’t get me started on the grand entrance! Oh my gosh. It was a full-blown competition! The wedding party came prepared with props, costumes, and alllll the energy. Each duo had their own entrance moment, and the guests got to vote on the winner. The bride and groom made their entrance in matching cowboy hats and looked straight-up iconic.

There were many, many more special moments throughout their wedding day. It was a true celebration of the love they share with each other, as well as all their friends and family.

Their Winter Wedding Reception at the Aisling

Their wedding reception was stunning. Picture this: a long head table glowing with candlelight, dozens of delicate bud vases filled with single white roses, and the warmest, dreamiest light dancing across every face. It was giving a candlelit dinner romance in the most elevated way possible.

Sneaking Away for the Cake

Jordan & Maddie didn’t feel like doing a traditional cake-cutting moment. Instead, we snuck away later in the night and they shared a cake together privately. They were sitting on the floor, laughing, feeding each other bites, and it was one of my favorite parts of the whole night!

This wedding had it all. Elegance, laughter, surprise moments, and alllll the love. I’ll never stop swooning over it!
