There’s something so fun about engagement sessions! They feel like this perfect mix of date night and memory-making, and Jodi and Jaret’s downtown engagement photos in Bemidji were exactly that. From downtown, we made our way to the lakeshore where they popped champagne right on the beach. The sky lit up with soft pinks and oranges as the sun dipped behind the water, and it was the most romantic little moment. Barefoot in the sand, sipping bubbly, wrapped up in each other — it doesn’t get much better than this.

Blue Hour Magic in the Field

As dusk settled in, we headed out to a private field for some cozy, playful vibes. Jodi and Jaret kept things super natural with lots of laughs and piggyback rides, and those soft blue-hour tones that feel so calm and dreamy. This part of the session always feels extra relaxed, and I love ending on a note that’s just about being yourselves.
