Didi absolutely slayed her senior session!! From the outfits to the location, everything came together beautifully. We took her fall senior photos out at her family’s private nature preserve in Western Minnesota, just an hour from Bemidji, and WOW. What a dream location!

Not only was the land freaking gorgeous, but it was also meaningful. The preserve has been in her family for years, and I just love it when seniors choose a spot that’s such a big part of their story.

A Sentimental Location for Fall Senior Photos

Didi and her mom were such a joy to work with. They chose to hold Didi’s session on this family land because it holds many cherished memories. From the dock by the water to the cozy log cabin to the tall grass and forest trails, we explored it all! It was like stepping into a fairy tale…

Having a Nice Variety of Locations + Outfits

This was my Top Senior Package, which meant we had time to really go all-in with a full experience. We chose four different spots around the property, and Didi had a unique outfit planned for each one.

• Elegant burgundy dress with her cello (in the lake!!)
• Cozy neutral outfit on the porch with her kitty
• Denim dress for the dock + playful lake shots
• Flowy white dress in the wildflower field

Everything was so well thought out, but also super relaxed and fun. We laughed, chatted, played with light, and captured who Didi is right now. And that’s the goal, right? Your senior session should feel like YOU.

Tips for Your Own Fall Senior Photos 

Planning your own session? Here’s what made Didi’s gallery extra dreamy (and you can totally steal these ideas!):

• Choose a location with meaning. It can be your football field, your favorite spot in the city, a golden field, and even your own backyard.

• Bring props or hobbies. Your instrument, your sports gear, your pet, your favorite book, whatever helps tell your story. Just like Didi brought her cello and her cat!
