Capturing Taylor & Sam’s Romantic Field Engagement Photos in Bemidji

It was a beautiful end-of-summer day when I met up with Taylor and Sam in the Lake Bemidji State Park. If you’re looking for a variety of different backdrops, the State Park really has it all! Together, we explored the beautiful field, the shoreline, and also the golf course!

Now, I will always rave about this and recommend this to my clients, but incorporating multiple locations and 2-3 outfit changes into an engagement session is a game-changer! It adds so much depth and variety to the gallery. That’s exactly what we did with this beautiful couple!

For Taylor and Sam, we started in that dreamy field during the golden hour. The light and their vibes were just a chef’s kiss! But then, to make things even more exciting, we headed to a nearby shoreline just in time for the “blue hour.” There’s just something about that soft, blueish hue after sunset that gets me every time! They had so much fun popping a bottle of bubbly, playing around with their pup, and dipping their toes into the water. The session was SUCH A BLAST!

And I must say, Taylor and Sam’s choice of outfits was SO on point. They perfectly complemented each setting and gave off those playful yet romantic vibes. If you’re thinking of having your own field engagement photos, I definitely recommend this combo!
